Foxes

As the fox does not have any natural predators in the wild they need to be kept under control. The reason for this are due to foxes carrying a lot of flea's which can infest cat's and dog's, they can also cause mange and distemper. If the foxes build up in numbers there can also be issues with food sources which could cause them to seek food elsewhere and because they have a very good sense of smell finding food in rubbish bins, cat and dog food are all easy pickings. And having small stomachs means they need to eat food regularly to keep themselves full.
The preferred method is shooting which instantly kills them so they feel no pain. To do this we would normally go lamping at night and if required we can always use snares, once this is done they are then destroyed.
